Quick answer
A 6-day Golden Triangle tour visits Delhi (2 nights), Agra (1) and Jaipur (2) by private car, about 750 km in total. See the Taj Mahal at sunrise, Fatehpur Sikri on the way to Jaipur, and Amber Fort at opening. It costs from ₹28,500 per person and runs best October to March.
Trip Overview
The Golden Triangle links Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, the three cities first-time visitors to India ask about most. We time each one carefully: the Taj Mahal when the gates open at sunrise, Mehtab Bagh for the sunset view across the river, and Amber Fort at opening, before the tour buses arrive.
Fatehpur Sikri, Akbar's abandoned red-sandstone capital, sits on the Agra–Jaipur road, so it fits in without a separate day. The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays, so we plan your Agra day around that. Expect drives of 3.5 to 5 hours, mostly on expressway.
