These terms apply when you use travelxamp.com or book a trip planned by Travel Xamp. By sending an enquiry you agree to them. Where we send you a written quote or booking confirmation, its terms apply to that trip alongside these.
1. How booking works
Travel Xamp is enquiry-first. You send the form or a WhatsApp message, and a planner replies with a day-by-day itinerary and a price in Indian rupees. Nothing is booked, and nothing is payable, until you approve the plan in writing (WhatsApp or email is fine).
The website takes no payments. After you approve, we send payment instructions in writing. A booking amount confirms your dates and the balance is due before travel, on the date stated in your confirmation.
2. Prices and what is included
- Prices on the website are indicative, per person on twin sharing, land only, and exclude 5% GST. Your written quote is the price that applies.
- Each package page lists what is included and excluded. If it is not listed as included, it is not included.
- Quotes depend on dates, hotel availability, group size and fuel and tax rates, and are valid for the period stated on them.
- Single rooms, children and larger groups are priced separately.
3. Changes and cancellations
You can change dates, hotels, pace or days before you pay, and we re-quote until it is right. After you pay, changes are subject to availability and to the terms of the hotels, transport operators and guides involved.
We state each trip’s cancellation terms in writing before you pay, because they depend on the hotels and dates. Refunds follow those terms, less non-refundable amounts already paid to suppliers on your behalf, and are made to the account you paid from within 15 working days of the supplier refunds reaching us.
If we have to change or cancel a trip (for example because of a road closure, weather, a closed monument or a supplier failure), we will offer an equivalent alternative or a refund of the unused services.
4. Your responsibilities
- Give us correct names, contact details and travel documents. Names on tickets and permits must match your ID.
- Hold a valid passport and visa (international visitors) and any permits required, such as the Arunachal Pradesh Inner Line or Protected Area Permit. We help with the process but entry decisions are made by the authorities.
- Tell us about health conditions, mobility needs and dietary needs that affect the plan. For high-altitude trips, check with your doctor.
- Follow local rules, guides’ and drivers’ safety instructions and temple and park dress and behaviour codes.
- Take travel insurance. It is strongly recommended and is not included unless stated.
5. Third-party suppliers
Hotels, drivers, guides, boat operators, safari and rafting operators and similar suppliers provide their own services. We choose them with care and name them where we can, but we are not the operator of their services. Adventure activities carry inherent risk, and you take part voluntarily following the operator’s briefing.
6. Our liability
We are responsible for planning and arranging the services we have agreed to provide. We are not liable for events outside our reasonable control, such as natural events, strikes, government orders, closures, delays by airlines or railways, or acts of third parties. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and our total liability for any trip is limited to the amount you paid us for it, except where the law says otherwise.
7. Website use, content and photos
Itineraries, distances and timings are given in good faith and are checked regularly, but they can change with roads, weather and temple or monument schedules. Text and design on this website belong to Travel Xamp. Photographs are public-domain or CC0 images or our own, as recorded in our image log. Please do not copy our content for commercial use without asking.
8. Partner leads
Travel businesses applying through the partner form agree that: the information they give is accurate; an application is not an agreement to work together; any commercial terms (rates, commissions, payment timelines) apply only once agreed in writing; and we may decline an application without giving a reason.
9. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Both sides will first try to resolve a dispute by talking; if that fails, it will be heard by the courts in India with jurisdiction over the place where the booking was made.
Questions about these terms or a complaint about a trip: blogbyvishal@gmail.com. We acknowledge complaints within 2 working days.
