Quick answer
A 3-day Delhi tour covers Old Delhi (Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk) on day one, Mughal and New Delhi (Humayun's Tomb, Qutb Minar, India Gate) on day two, and museums or markets on day three. It costs from ₹12,500 per person, and October to March is the best time.
Trip Overview
Delhi rewards a slower visit. Day one is Old Delhi: the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, a cycle-rickshaw through Chandni Chowk and a guided food walk of parathas, kebabs and jalebis. Day two covers Humayun's Tomb, Lodhi Garden, India Gate and the Qutb Minar complex, three UNESCO-listed monuments among them.
It works as a stopover before Agra or Rajasthan, or as a long weekend for families and solo travellers. You stay in a central hotel, travel by private cab and walk with a licensed guide through the old city.

Mughal tombs, Old Delhi lanes and India's best street food.
Most India trips start in Delhi, and it deserves more than a transit night. Three UNESCO sites (Humayun's Tomb, Qutb Minar and the Red Fort) sit within an hour of each other, and Old Delhi's lanes are still the best food walk in the country.
