    On-trip help

Is Kashmir suitable for parents in their 70s?+

Yes, at this pace. Drives are under 3 hours, hotels are on or near the ground floor on request, and you can skip any pony ride or high gondola phase.

What is the split-day idea?+

Each day has a main plan and an easier version, so parents can rest at the hotel while you take an optional ride and join them for lunch.

Why is Sonamarg left out?+

It is a long day with rough roads and ponies to reach the glacier. For this trip we trade it for a rest day.

When should we go?+

April to June and September to October are the most comfortable for older travellers. December to February is snowy and cold.

Can we swap the houseboat for a hotel?+

Yes. Some elders prefer a hotel for the first night. We can keep the houseboat for a shikara ride and dinner only.

Can I change the itinerary?+

Yes. Dates, hotels, pace and stops can all be changed; we'll re-quote.

Do I pay anything to enquire?+

No. You'll get a written plan and quote first. Payment only happens after you approve it.
