Sajjangarh Palace

Sajjangarh Palace is situated on the top of the Bansdara hills. This palace is also known as the Monsoon Palace. The palace offers captivating views of Fateh Sagar Lake. It was built by Maharaja Sajjan Singh in the 19th Century. This palace was originally planned to be made an astronomical centre. Jagdish Temple

The Indo-Aryan Jagdish temple was built in 1651 in the reign of Maharana Jagat Singh. This temple is three storied and has beautifully carved pillars and graceful ceilings. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and has other shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva, Goddess Shakti and Lord Ganesh.

Fateh Sagar Lake

Saheliyon Ki Bari

Sahleiyon Ki Bari or the Garden of Maidens was built in the early 18th century by Maharana Sangram Singh II as a garden for women. Lush green and with colourful bougainvillaea hanging on walls, this garden had several attractions including beautiful marble elephants, kiosks, fountains, and a lotus pool.

Gulab Bagh and Zoo

Literally meaning Garden of roses, Gulab Bagh (Sajjan Niwas Garden) is the largest garden in Udaipur. Spread over an area of 100 acres, the garden has an innumerable variety of roses. Zoo housing leopards and tigers and birds are also there. A walk in the garden is sure to be a lovely and calming experience.

Doodh Talai Lake

Doodh Talai literally means ‘Milk Pond’. Bagore ki Haveli is located at Gangaur Ghat. The Haveli was built in the 18th century by Amar Chand Badwa, the Prime Minister of Mewar. The Haveli has more than a hundred rooms with unique mirror works. Beautiful mural paintings and glassworks adorn the walls of the Haveli.
