Ayodhya Deepotsav 2020: The grandeur and euphoria like the “Tretayug” is seen coming alive after centuries in Ramnagari Ayodhya on the divine festival, Diwali. The garland of lamps and the door-to-door decoration lit in the joy of the arrival of Lord Rama returned home after conquering Lanka gave the world a holy festival like Diwali. This time the grand Ram Mandir construction started after centuries of waiting at the birthplace of Shri Ram has increased the joy of the three-day “Deepotsav” festival started from Wednesday. Ramnagari will illuminate with 5 lakh 51 thousand diyas and Ayodhya will enter its name in the Guinness Book of World Records.

“Sabme Ram- Sabke Ram” unique glimpse through the scenes of Ramayana is increasing the divinity of 16 entrances including program sites, ghats of Saryu, roads, lanes, monasteries and temples.

Deepotsov from 12 to 16 November

A grand and divine aarti of the Saryu River is being arranged on the festival of Deepotsav-2020 (Ayodhya Deepotsav 2020). Electrical decorations are being done in all the temples including Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, Kanak Bhavan, Ram Ki Paidi, Hanumangarhi. Similarly, electric skirting is being done on bridges, electric poles etc. Deepotsav is being organized from November 12 to 16 under the joint aegis of Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department, Ayodhya District Administration and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia University. 29 thousand litres of oil will be used to light the lamp. 7.5 lakh kg of cotton is being arranged.

Deepotsav Celebration from 2017

Laying the divine lamp festival in 2017, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that glorious moment of Ram Mandir’s construction will soon enhance the grandeur of Ayodhya. This dream came true after the Supreme Court’s verdict on November 9, 2019. After the formation of the trust and the construction work started for the construction of a grand Ram Mandir at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, the euphoria of the devotees all over the world about the Deepotsav is worth seeing.

Let me tell you, Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) had performed Bhoomi Pujan on August 5 for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. On reaching the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya on Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Deepotsav, he will visit Ramlala and light the lamp there.
